Ep 100. 100 Things to Love About You

Did you know that when you take some time to retrain your brain to think loving, kind, compassionate thoughts about yourself, you end up thinking about yourself less often? Today I’m talking to you about choosing your thoughts about yourself on purpose. There is an exercise I have my clients do where they make a list of things they appreciate about themselves and many of them have a hard time coming up with more than 10 or so. Today I’m sharing with you my list to give you some ideas and get your brain thinking. Then, you know what to do… make your own list my friend. As a bonus you’ll get to hear me say the alphabet backwards. You’re welcome.

I just want to thank you so much for your work! I just had my first anniversary of “the work” in my life. I love the way you tie LDS gospel principles to thought work and the honesty and realness that you bring to the podcast. Thank you, thank you!

I just listened to this episode. I decided to make a list though I felt like I wouldn’t get 50 but ended up getting 101 before I stopped. Then as I went about the rest of my evening, I kept coming up with new things to write down. It was a great exercise! I appreciate the lesson this taught of how easy it is to change my perception of myself and how important it is to speak to myself with more kindness.

I’ve been listening to you for about a year now, and I tell everyone about your podcast. Your positive attitude and thinking has changed my life. I’ve listened to most but not all of your podcasts, and some get listened to every once in a while, just to remind myself… (how to say no(!), what other people think, the marriage ones, etc.) and I *may have* listened to this episode several times to get a few ideas for my own list about what I like about myself…but if someone read my list and yours they really don’t have many similarities!
Every time I look for how to leave a review on iTunes, I’ve never figured it out. I need a step by step. I will do it if I know how! 🙂
Thanks! Have a great day, I know I will!
